To The MWCA COMMUNITY —–
This is to advise all that today will be our last day of rink operation at Manordale Park. We will leave the benches out for skaters wishing to continue using the rink while the weather lasts. We wish to thank Sean, Carol, Dave and all the Rink Attendants who have made this one of our most successful years! We hope that those that have used the rink have enjoyed it and will come back next year. Please don’t forget that there are many events sponsored by the MWCA throughout and we hope that you can come out and enjoy these as well.
We are happy to report now that Winter has decided to return to Manordale that as a result of a dedicated neighbor and friend we now have our rink open at Manordale Park. Please feel free to come out and use it with your family and friends. However, please remember that it is because of a dedicated group of volunteers that you have this spectacular ice surface to skate on. If you have the time, please grab a shovel and help to clear the snow. As well, we would like to thank Sean for stepping up and offering to maintain our rink this year! It is friends and neighbors like him that make Manordale a special place to live!
Nice Ice Training/Ice Making 101 held at Woodroffe Park Field House 180 Lockhart Ave (just north of the Carlingwood Shopping Centre).
